Natacha Antão

Natacha Antão is an artist and researcher at Lab2PT (Landscape, Heritage and Territory Laboratory), University of Minho, where she has taught at the School of Architecture, Art and Design (EAAD) since 2006. She is editor of PSIAX, a journal on drawing and image published since 2002 (up.pt/revistas/index.php/psiax). Since 2018, her practice has centred on walking as an artistic and research method, through the experimental laboratory The Walking Body (walk.lab2pt.net). Her current work explores the intersections of walking with landscape, drawing, representation, and pedagogical innovation. She co-organized the Drifting Bodies Fluent Spaces conference (2020) and is partner and researcher of WALC (Walking Arts & Local Communities), an EU-funded project establishing an International Centre for Walking Arts.
